Paul Mobbs is on tour.

"Wakey! Wakey! - the UK Peak Energy Tour" is on now. Mobbsey will 'play' Leamington on Mon 16 Apr, Bristol on Tue 17 Apr, Chipping Norton on Wed 30 May and various parts of Greater London in May and June.

He has an engineering background, and gives very good talk. Who wants to go to a gig with me?

A good Friday

G & I are at home fighting off viruses. I'm slightly ahead, so should still be able to translocate to Eastercon tomorrow.

I've been playing my tenor sax ... for the first time in 6 years. Complex reasons, but adding 'music room' to the functions of the library has made all the difference. Wow, am I out of practice :-)

G & I went for a gentle potter in the glorious afternoon sun, so I could get Mater spending money for her shopping spree this weekend with her cousin C.

I've been sowing seeds since. The borders, cold-frame and troughs are now full of: cat nip, soapwort, Sisyrinchium striatum, ragged robin, pansy, 'Cottage Garden Mix', cornflower, skullcap, flat-leaf parsley, lemon balm, angelica, Welsh poppy, orange poppy, linseed, anise hyssop, and probably other things I had laying about too - a mixture of new seed, old seed, and gifts of saved seed. Must remember to water them again after the weekend...
