The attack happened around 19:20, as we were on our way out to dinner. We finally got back from giving our statements at the police station at 01:15.
My major concern is for D, although the attacker threatened to 'find out where we live' and seems the sort to kick cats hard. My main loss, apart from a little peace of mind and the pleasant evening we'd planned, is most of a good night's sleep - that will set me back all week.
My aikido training helped me to stay calm and alert, anyhow.
