HELP: AKICILJ
Sep. 14th, 2005 12:15 pmOK, I'm not much good at this Windows stuff.
We had a brief power outage. My desk-side computer (Win98) is now happily back on the wireless network. However, my lap-top (WinXP) cannot make an Internet connection. The lap-top is connected to the wireless network, but when I ping the default gateway (automatically configured the same as the desk-side), the request times out.
Help?
Edit Looks like the problem is that I don't have 'clearance' to release and renew the DHCP license on the lap-top. I think the old one was set to expire on Saturday... head-desk.
