Wanted: One 'patience of a saint', for help dealing with the UK NHS
The UK NHS is better than most of the extant alternatives, but still has conspicuous weak points...
Mater is still in the general hospital, 3 weeks on, because her specialist bed transfer is waiting on her condition being reviewed by a consultant from another hospital (note this). This review was supposed to happen last week.
The consultant went to Mater's flat, instead of the hospital ward, to do the review.
