Mater update

Home having seen Mater safely installed in a hospital bed ... in a mixed ward, with no personal locker, and after 8 hours sitting in A&E. Too late to go into details tonight, but suffice it to say that the non-human scale of the NHS caused a lot of unnecessary woe for Mater. Let's hope they can now do some significant repair work on her, physically and mentally.

The hospital admission is to assess why she's been unable to stop falling over since her trip of Tuesday where her wrist got broken.

Have just caught up on all your recent posts after family weekend away. I don't really have anything to say except that I'm really sorry that you and Mum have been having such a bad time and I hope things get better for you soon.
