All quiet?

This week has all been about work, sleep and trying to fight off a virus.

I've not been quite ill enough to stay off work, but not been quite strong enough to fight of the cold. So I've been struggling with woozy, dizzy, muggy head - and a suddenly 'urgent' project landing on my desk.

I really must try to get some me-time this weekend!

Linked oppressions, linked liberations?

I have a colleague who is an academic working on links between different forms of oppression.

Her background is researching violence against women, and working with women victims of violence.

She's interested in connecting with anyone explicitly using the experiences of movements such as the feminist and anti-racist movements as practical models for other (younger?) equality movements.
