1) Total number of films I own on DVD/video:
Most of our combined collection was not bought by me ... but: 400, maybe.
2) Last film bought:
Urgh ... I was given a free copy of Four Weddings and a Funeral by our local rental place ... I bought Buffy Season 7 for D (but really for us all) ... but what was the last film that I bought? Elizabeth, or Shakespeare in Love, I think. Edit No! It was The Wicker Man double DVD set, with the theatrical and restored versions!
3) Last film that I watched:
Cinema ... difficult again ... Return of the King, I'm pretty sure.
DVD: Bride and Prejudice, which was fun and bright.
VHS: Kagemusha ... powerful stuff.
4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me, in no particular order:
Fellowship of the Ring - it's my favourite of the books, too.
Persuasion - I'm always transfixed by Anne Elliot
Shichinin no Samurai- Seven Samurai - in some sense, I identify with Kikuchiyo (the farmer-Samurai)
The Wicker Man (restored) - apple blossom horror (and I hate horror :-)
Orlando - Tilda Swinton! Jimmy Somerville! Quentin Crisp!
5) Pick on five people. Tag five people and have them put this on their journal.
