Mater is going into hospital today. The specialist is confident that a short in-patient period is the most effective way to get her better, so we've (somewhat reluctantly) agreed.

I know it's frustrating ... But sometimes that's the best option. And it will give you a bit of a break as well, which is never a bad thing.

In my experience, hospitals are a great place to miraculously get better, if only because one is so utterly bored out of one's skull that there's no alternative but to sleep ... ;-)

I agree. Simply *being* in a hospital is huge motivation to get better quickly. Hopefully her stay will be very short and very restorative.

Commiserations! With any luck she will get better soon and be out again. Is the hospital handy for visits or are you looking at a long trek/car journey? Thinking of you!
