Astrophysics satellites launching today

purpletigronWe are now in the final hours of the count-down to the launch of the Herschel and Planck satellites, on an Ariane 5 rocket at c. 13:12 UTC today 2009 May 14.
We are hoping that BBC News 24 will be broadcasting from the launch site.
