News sources suggest that it actually only makes turbine blades on the IoW (as well as having some R&D), so there doesn't look to be much benefit in running the IoW operation as a stand-alone business.
And with Vestas (a Danish company) losing even more jobs in Denmark than in the UK, I suspect that any protests will just hasten the process of closure.
