Happy December
Dec. 1st, 2007 07:04 amFinished the honeymoon period at work with an almighty thump last week ... but everyone in the office remains on good terms, and working well together, and we will be doing some ace teambuilding tomorrow (yes, I'm working on Sunday, getting Tuesday off with G in lieu ;-)
G is home all this coming week, too, which will be lovely as last week and the following week are 'working away' weeks. That said, I'm coping much better with G's away weeks, thanks to e.g. not being stuck alone at home all day ;-)))
Back to aikido after two miserable weeks off with illness, and Sensei continues to say very nice things about my progress toward 5th kyu.
I still speak to Mater every morning before work, and ... it's getting good. Despite all Mater's continuing problems, when I ring her around 07:30 I get a window on to the real person that I love. We're even nattering in our cod French. It's ... uplifting.
Hope to get to see a good number of you tonight!
