I was about to launch into the standard 'crap delivery arrangements' rant (you all know the riff) when the doorbell rang. The driver and his mate had managed to get here by 10 am, as requested of their supervisor, confirmed with her last night, yet not conveyed to them this morning. You can't say fairer than that.

And now we have a shiny new dishwasher - our first full-sized one (our old one was counter-top size, bought second hand in 1999 from a colleague). Test wash tonight! :-)
