PoliticalBetting.Com are currently quoting odds of 4/7 against, and 13/8 on Michael Howard having a decreased majority after Thursday's election. The poll-of-odds seems to expect a Labour majority of about 80.

Edit According to the BBC, last time, Howard had a 13% majority, and his seat is the 33rd on the LibDem target list.

Waiting for the post to see if my postal ballot papers arrive. Edit No post received as yet, and the local election helpline is permanently engaged...

Ah -- should have followed the link; wouldthen have realised that you were talking about Howard's Folkestone seat rather than the likely reduced majority for the Parlaimentary Labour Party.

[livejournal.com profile] brisingamen sounded optimistic about their chances of getting rid of Howard.

Indeed - yet there's not been a whiff of it in the UK national media, and 13% is a large majority.
