Oh, what a day!
May. 4th, 2005 03:13 pmHaving survived the doctors (quite tiring for Mater), we rested. Then I mentioned that there's a Farmers Market on locally today.
About 45 mins later, Mater suggested that she'd like to give it a whirl...
Whoopee!
We bought a rucksack full of stuff, for lunch, supper and the freezer. Mater was actually having fun! ...
... until Central Trains abandoned us :-( When there's supposed to be trains every 20 mins, and you've timed it perfectly to catch one, sitting for 45 mins on uncomfortable benches is doubly excruciating :-((((
But!
As soon as we stepped out of our home station, Mater started to laugh heartily: "I was convinced we'd never get home again ... but we made it!" :-) Yeah, she's now flaked out, having a rest, but ... wow!
