purpletigronI just spoke to her, and she's so much more coherent than she was!
The plaster cast is off her broken wrist, as it has healed. She has been given some physiotherapy, and the rehab hospital physio staff are helping her with that. They have given her a strength-building 'stress ball' which - mirabile dictu - she is using!
Now we just need a gap in the weather so that my brother can drive up safely tomorrow from the Basingstoke area ... and Christmas will be ON!
In other news, I have been 'promoted' from the top of Scale 2 to the bottom of Scale 3 at work - some small extra duties, and an extra UKP 18.70 per month before tax, plus the possibility of further 'promotions' ;-)
