purpletigronOh, the guilt! I just punted my darling Flooger, entirely by accident!
My desk is under the study window, beside the radiator and about 9 inches from that wall. The Flooger loves to jump up by my mouse elbow, and sneak onto the windowsill to watch his territory, and all the passing pigeons, magpies and squirrels which sit on the kitchen roof. He usually announces his presence with a little noise before he jumps on to the corner of the desk.
Just now, he leaped without peeping. Unfortunately for us both, I was just reaching for the mouse at the same moment. My elbow swept into his flank in mid-leap, 'neatly' deflecting him onto the radiator and down the gap beside the desk to the floor. Poor lil' bugger!
He seems totally uninjured, in that good flopping falling way that cats had - and I even think that he's going to forgive me quite quickly. If he'd been an aggressor, and that had been an aikido move, it would have been near-perfect. As it was ... WAH! I'M CRAP!!! :-(
