"I am a sociologist interested in research or teaching posts, including part-time and temporary work, and including conducting research (such as interviewing), as well as data entry (e.g. SPSS), transcription, data analysis or report writing. My current research interests are in the fields of human-nonhuman animal relations, veganism and animal rights. Previous research experience has included the topics of unemployment (PhD), sexuality (MA), social housing, animal welfare, the Connexions service, the labour market, national identity, consumers and climate change and tobacco control. My teaching experience has included: critical animal studies; sustainability and veganism (postgraduate and undergraduate); utopian studies; the sociology of sexuality; introductory level sociology and policy studies (first year undergraduate). I have considerable experience in qualitative research methods, especially interviews, observation and discourse analysis. "
