Plumber late. May not make bi-weekly Farmer's Market. Boo-hoo.

SK doing well - much happier now dire rear subsiding: purring, active, eating better. WK going for 'MOT' tonight.

Good aikido last night - advanced 'body work' class. Took a few wretched falls, but nothing broke. I was sleepy...

More trouble with the soon-to-be-ex-step-father. Bah.

G home from London tonight! D home from France on Saturday - and we will probably go for my belated birthday dinner :-)

I'm hearing good things about the new season of Angel. We won't see it until it comes out on DVD, I suspect. But I'm not worried about spoilers - I already knew the biggest one, months ago :-)

Oops! That wasn't meant to be a fishing line for birthday wishes ... not sure that I told LJ when my birthday is, anyhow :-) But it was August, so I wasn't joking about the belated part (it is all my fault, not D's, BTW!)

I'm so relieved that SK is at least having some better days (cue Babylon 5 quotes) to make up for the recent discomforts and indignitities... :-)

That is *very* belated... have fun with G and D this weekend, anyways. After recent stresses, it sounds like you could use a bit of pampering.

And SK is still gaining, right?

It's nice being in the same time zone, for awhile longer... :-).

I'm hearing good things about the new season of Angel

-- while Channel Five has temporarily suspended transmission of the third series and BSkyB is engaged in a spat with the BBC about the non-encryption of the latter's satellite transmissions, which has led to the suspension of negotiations on purchases from Fox, meaning that there's no date yet (if ever) for the terrestrial broadcast of the final series of Buffy.

As Emma Thompson might say: fuck fuck fuckety-fuck.

I just got the premiere and ep2 of Angel season 5 from Margaret Austin who was visiting Edinburgh on Monday night. Oh yippee doo dahh!!! (I will probably revert to waiting for the Sky ransmission after that tho - I really don't like watching eps on my computer and the DVD player sadly doesn't handle data CDs , it seems..)

It was only ever Buffy that I was paranoid about seeing unspoiled - and that, because I felt my B5 viewing experience was impoverished by being spoiled...
