Mater and I have returned to our respective homes after a fabulous National Vegetarian Day 'three courses for a tenner' slap-up lunch. Once again, she met me at the city centre railway station, travelling alone - still very scary for her, but practice should bring confidence ...
We both ate ourselves to a stand-still - her vegan lemon cheesecake dessert was fabulous, and my red enchilada was most yummy too. Better still, we had wonderful company - quite by chance, Fatima had brought her sister to try the Cafe, and they were happy to sit with us :-)
Now Mater and I are both drained by the exertions of the day. But she's gone home with some reasonably nutritious convenience foods that we picked up from the wholefoods shop, so I am content.
