Yes, but the Model-T had no crash protection, wooden wheels that broke on pot holes, only two forward gears and was open to the elements.
Oh, and you could give yourself a lovely fracture to the thumb bone nearest to the wrist when you crank-started it (medically this break is still called a Chaufeur's Fracture).
