Resting on laurels
May. 15th, 2005 04:16 pmMade some more Rolls that Rock this morning - an improved chocolate version (less sugar, better shape), spiced fruit and nut, garlic, and chilli. Chomp!
Mater and I had a lovely one hour pottering around the park which is our local cemetary. A truly lovely day today, hot in the sun, but the air like wine in the shade.
Useful puttering in the garden this afternoon - I've finally swept the dead leaves off the patio, and the water-butts are emptied and ready for the heavy rain forecast for the morning.
Almost time to start cooking supper...
G is off for a week of factory testing at crack of sparrow-fart tomorrow - due home for supper on Friday. Mater has a busy week of appointments, which will hopefully leave her stronger and more confident for our holiday. She's started worrying about what to pack (we don't leave for two weeks) - what a great problem to have! :-)
