That Friday Feeling

So, my world is about to do its weekly flip-flop - I go from being "deeply lonely cat woman", to "happy gregarious 'surrounded by friends and family' woman", and back again over 3 days. Guess which part of the cycle I prefer (much as I love my kitties)? And the problem seems to be, the more I kick back and indulge in the ups, the more down the downs become :-(

Maybe I should get a job in the education section of a nice little local non-profit organisation? If they only had paid jobs...

In the meantime, school. And the lesson today is: "Forget 'perfect' - just pick some learning activities, and run with them."

There has to be something that you can do during the week that will put you in touch with like-minded people, or at least people who share some of your interests.
