By this report the government of BC province, and the Canadian federal government, are trying to resurrect an old law against all 'multiple relationships'.
The maximum penalty would be 5 years imprisonment.
This could apply to any 'extra-marital affair', all forms of polyamory, and anyone attending a ceremony celebrating the latter - independent of any evidence of sexual activity.
One of my great-grandparents was born in what is now Toronto, which isn't enough to give me the right to directly participate in any Canadian movement against this appalling attempt. Any international movement, please contact me.
