Hoorah! Good progress at school today, and Mater coped very well (considering) with her first day 'home alone'. Also, another 24hr reprive for the FIV+ cat, and news of a possible adopter.
Did some interesting work with a 12 year old today, who can write quite neatly and well - but only when copying, and can't then reliably read it back :-( But we worked through the question sheet together (I was the third adult, supporting the class), and I was rewarded by "I enjoyed that!" after 20 mins productive slog.
