It being that time of year, I thought I should share... I've recently had two independent recommendations of quality for the following nursery which can supply fruit and nut trees and bushes around the UK:

Keepers Nursery.

Oh yes, these people ... this is where my quince tree is going to come from. I've heard nothing but good about them.

Hmmmm...

Don't know these guys, I always used to get trees from Hilliers of Ampfield - they had a clam that if you could supply a graft of the variety you wanted then in 3 years they'd sell you the tree. Bought a medlar off them once, then sold the house. Only grower I knew of offering the Court Pendu Plat variety. Really competent arboretum and fruit/plan/treeseller

Might this do for us? I really don't know enough :-( Might need to be grown in a container.

Sounds like a good choice! I'm sure the nursery would be able to give you the best advice about how to grow it... I would guess that, in the long term, it would be best to plant it in the ground (for a start, it makes watering much less of a problem).

So, have you seen anything else you fancy for the rest of the garden? :-)
