Digging in the dirt

My garden project for the rest of the Winter: lots and lots of digging. This is the sort of thing which might be fun for anyone into broad scale 'destruction gardening' like clearing dead ivy and heavily pruning a rampant buddleia (said whilst looking at no one in particular of course!)

Mortar fragments can make the ground a bit alkaline, but if you're putting in plenty of well rotted compost this shouldn't be to much of a problem, considering all the digging you've been doing. Well done, thanks for the update!
