I lost my voice on Friday. Still can't find it. Thought my cold had opened the door to a secondary throat infection.

Doctor says that I also have bronchitis.

So, horse pill antibiotics, bowl of soup noodles, a large mug of ridiculously successful home-made soy kefir, and trying to gently be calm and happy.

I'm signed off school for two weeks.

Another medical appointment on Thursday.

How will it end? (all together now...)

We have a futon! One big mattress...

My best bet for now is that it was slightly feathery ... then Mr Pointy will have seen it waft and wiggle, and will have dragged it away under ... something...

That's complete pants about school. I so hope things get better for you.

Oh no, that's such bad luck. Bet loads of other teachers, teaching assistants and kids are off with throat infections too.

I was sure it was just a throat infection, but the doctor listened to my chest, and made those serious "Hmm!" noises etc.

Mr Pointy is getting very good at being a bed cat. he's currently asleep by my pillow, in fact - and spent most of last night being nauseatingly cute, cuddled up against me under the duvet! :-)

Gotta love those horse pills - actually you don't but better horse pills than a horse sitting on your chest in the night. I have got quite good at sleeping sitting up but I'd still rather be better. Get well us!!!!!!
