Purpletigron

Just now, there was an unfamiliar tabby cat sitting, loaf-like, on the post at the end of the fence along the back of our garden.

A squirrel started pottering along toward the cat. The cat can't believe its luck, starts stalking head-to-head with the squirrel. Squirrel hardly slows, cat getting more excited, about two squirrel lengths between them and...

Boing!

The squirrel's off on to the buddleia, around the cat and away on the next fence! "Wha...? But...?" goes the cat ... and is still completely bamboozled when the squirrel's two gardens away!

ROTFL! Just as well the Flooger wasn't watching :-)
